‘My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.
I hope you’ll join with me as we try to change  it.
‘  — Barack Obama

The Tea Party protests, in their current form, began in early 2009 after Rick Santelli, the On Air Editor for CNBC, set out on a rant to expose the bankrupt liberal agenda of the White House Administration and Congress. Specifically, the flawed “Stimulus Bill” and irresponsible pork filled spending.

During Rick’s rant, he called for a “Chicago Tea Party” where advocates of the free-market system could join in a protest against out of control government spending. A few days later, grassroots activists and average Joe Americans began organizing what would soon become the Nationwide Chicago Tea Party effort.

On February 27th, an estimated 30,000 Americans took to the street in 40+ cities accross the country in the first nationwide “Tea Party” protest. Organizers of the February 27th events pledged to continue on with an even bigger and better protest to follow the first. With April 15th being “Tax Day”, it was decided to schedule the second round of Tea Party protests to ride alongside the tax deadline.

An element of the Tea Party Movement that beltway insiders get red faced even nasty about is its self driven, true grassroots foundation. The Movement cannot be controlled, driven, directed, or even calculated. It’s an animal unlike any other in politics, and the typical players of the free-market movement haven’t grasped the nature of the activism behind it. Most Politicians and Liberal Biased Media mouth pieces have claimed the movement has no relevancy and tries to poke fun of the US Citizens. The Strength of America “We The People” is just getting started. And in 2010… Will begin to take back the country from the progressive infiltration. Currently these So Called Marxist Experts believe that the Tea Party is Doomed because their is no clear “Leader of the Tea Party Movement” They have forgotten the most important part of the Grassroots movement “We The People” The Tea Party is not a “Party” at all, it is the American Citizens taking back the reckless out of control government run by the Progressive Democrat community organizers.

9 Principles, 12 Values

The 9-12 Principles

1. America Is Good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

God “The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained.” George Washington’s first Inaugural address.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

Honesty “I hope that I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider to be the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.” George Washington

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

Marriage/Family “It is in the love of one’s family only that heartfelt happiness is known. By a law of our nature, we cannot be happy without the endearing connections of a family.” Thomas Jefferson

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

Justice “I deem one of the essential principles of our government… equal and exact justice to all men of whatever state or persuasion, religious or political.” Thomas Jefferson

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

Life, Liberty, & The Pursuit of Happiness “Everyone has a natural right to choose that vocation in life which he thinks most likely to give him comfortable subsistence.” Thomas Jefferson

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

Charity “It is not everyone who asketh that deserveth charity; all however, are worth of the inquiry or the deserving may suffer.” George Washington

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

On your right to disagree “In a free and republican government, you cannot restrain the voice of the multitude; every man will speak as he thinks, or more properly without thinking.” George Washington

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Who works for whom? “I consider the people who constitute a society or a nation as the source of all authority in that nation.” Thomas Jefferson

The Tea Party 12 Values “From Glen Beck’s 9-12 Project”

* Reverence

* Hope

* Thrift

* Humility

* Sincerity

Breitbart Feed (16.05.2012 20:20h): USC Catholic Center Founder Banned Pacquiao

Rick Caruso, the owner of The Grove and the man who announced today that boxing legend Manny Pacquiao would be banned from the premises for his opposition to same-sex marriage, is also the funder of the USC Caruso Catholic Center, a 20,000 square foot church and center. He donated $6 million to the project. The center has no stated position on same-sex marriage, but Catholic doctrine clearly prohibits it. Father Lawrence Seyer, the head of the Caruso Catholic Center, voted for Proposition 8 to uphold traditional marriage in California, and opposes same-sex marriage. Seyer celebrated the initial court rulings upholding ... [Link] [Cache]

Breitbart Feed (16.05.2012 20:10h): Gay Rights Group Wants Nike to Drop Pacquaio for Words He Never Said

"Tell Nike To Drop Homophobic Boxer Manny Pacquaio" is splashed all over a new campaign by the pro-gay rights group, the Courage Campaign, that is trying to put pressure on Nike to drop professional boxer Manny Pacquaio over words Pacquiao never said. Pacquaio recently came out against gay marriage when he was interviewed, but gay rights groups have dangerously and irresponsibly -- and falsely -- accused him of saying gay people should be put to death, which is the basis for the Courage Campaign's "Drop Manny" campaign, which states: In an interview published Tuesday, March 15th with the conservative Examiner ... Lugar (16.05.2012 19:24h): 36 Years of Public Service

He was 16 when I was born, Mayor of Indianapolis my home town when I was a student at IU, and off to the US Senate when I was a ripe old 28; been there ever since. And a few hours after having seen him take a beating most uncommon in American politics—he lost to Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdock by 21 points in yesterday’s primary—the confetti has just stopped floating to the floor and empty beer cans have barely stopped rolling around as we look with mixed feelings at the phenomenon just experienced. They are called “Hoosiers,” a moniker ... [Link] [Cache]

Breitbart Feed (16.05.2012 18:38h): Pacquiao Banned from L.A. Mall for Same-Sex Marriage Opposition

The “tolerant” same-sex marriage left has struck again – this time, at the popular hangout The Grove, in Los Angeles. The owner of The Grove, Rick Caruso, tweeted that iconic boxing great and Philippines Congressman Manny Pacquiao would not be allowed “on the premises” thanks to Pacquiao’s outspoken opposition to same-sex marriage. “Boxer Manny Pacquiao is not welcome @TheGroveLA,” he tweeted. “@TheGroveLA is a gathering place for all Angelenos, not a place for intolerance.” Pacquiao was supposed to do an interview today with “Extra” at The Grove. What did heretofore-Obama-supporter Pacquiao do to earn the ban? He did an interview ... [Link] [Cache]

Breitbart Feed (16.05.2012 18:00h): Hillary 2012? Obama In Serious Danger of Losing Arkansas Primary

After President Obama's humiliating showing against a West Virginia prison inmate earlier this month, a more serious humiliation could be in making after the May 22 Arkansas primary. According to a new poll of Arkansas Democrats taken by Talk Business-Hendrix College, Obama is only seven points ahead 45-38 of his challenger, a relatively unknown attorney by the name of John Wolfe. According to our friends at The Weekly Standard, Wolfe hasn't done a single radio or television ad. In West Virginia, a prisoner garnered nearly 42% of the vote against this sitting president. In North Carolina, "no preference" took 20% ... [Link] [Cache]

Breitbart Feed (16.05.2012 17:40h): Wisconsin Union Continues to Defend Teacher Convicted of Molesting Student

WAUSAUKEE, Wis. - To more fully appreciate the destructive influence Big Labor has on public schools, consider the case of former Wausaukee teacher Kurt Kostelecky. Kostelecky was convicted last summer for having sexual contact with a freshman female student during the 2008-09 school year, and is currently serving a 10-year prison term. He claims the student came on to him, and he “couldn’t say no.” But that doesn’t mean Kostelecky’s former employer, the Wausaukee school district, can wash its hands of him. Rep. Scalise (16.05.2012 17:36h): Obsolete regulations holding back innovation and growth

Rep. Steve Scalise R-La. , a proponent of free market television and video marketplace reform, says in a new interview that "obsolete regulations have held back innovation and growth" in this fast-changing area of the economy. As congressional attention has increasingly focused on the topic of online video, in an interview with RedState's Neil Stevens, Scalise discusses the impact of what he calls "archaic laws" that form the basis of the regime governing transmission of broadcasters' signals by cable and satellite operators, among others: Retransmission consent rules were enacted in 1992, and you only have to compare a cell phone ... Wisconsin (16.05.2012 17:22h): Dems Lost Union Issue, Now Losing Jobs Issue

Big Labor has forced the good people of Wisconsin to have a "do-over" of their 2010 Gubernatorial contest. Not happy with the results or the reforms which Gov. Walker campaigned on and implemented, spent millions from it's members paychecks to force next months recall vote. Their anger was raised, obviously, by Walker's reforms which curbed the unions' ability to extract overly generous compensation and benefits from taxpayers. It was this reform of collective bargaining that sparked the recall campaign. Now the unions don't want to talk about it. It is easy to understand why. Battie, from Winslow, New Jersey, is suing the Wal-Mart on the Black Horse Pike because a sixteen-year-old boy sneaked into the room where the PA microphone was and announced over the intercom, “Attention, Wal-Mart customers. If there was an Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Award for the best acting performance by a CEO, Jamie Dimon of J.P. Morgan Bank would surely win the Oscar for his dismissal of a $2 billion off-shore derivative loss as “a complete tempest in a teapot.” Dimon tried to use all his theatrical skills to distract the American public from discovering that the U.S. Federal Reserve’s policy of loaning money to banks at zero-interest-rates has made derivative trading wildly profitable, but made lending to American businesses less profitable. Wilson’s beliefs run directly contrary to Christian tradition, and his statements are unequivocal in their opposition: 1998: “The most dangerous of devotions, in my opinion, is the one endemic to Christianity: I was not born to be of this world,” as belief in an afterlife weakens man’s devotion to ... “The Trayvon Martin thing was like a gift,” Common Cause spokeswoman Mary Boyle recently told Businessweek. Shortly after the Trayvon Martin shooting occurred in February, there was an overwhelming push from the left, and especially in the media, to make the incident one about race and gun control before the facts in the case were even publicly available. Some were quick to seize on the angle that George Zimmerman pursued Trayvon Martin, and that Zimmerman did so because of Martin’s race. This, despite the fact that Zimmerman himself is Hispanic, and the facts presented today suggest that it’s possible, perhaps ... [Link] [Cache]

There is only one issue that unites Democrats this election: class warfare. After the "shellacking" of the 2010 elections, Democrats nationwide have decided to follow the lead of New York Sen. Chuck Schumer this time around and run against the rich. Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown says of his fellow Democrats "We're on the same page now." From the moment John McCain introduced Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, the mainstream media hated her. Every phrase she uttered was parsed and every position she held was criticized. Thus, in September 2008, after she said Russia was viewable from one of the Islands around Alaska, an angry Associated Press lashed out: “Palin has never visited Russia, and until last year the 44-year-old first-term Alaska governor had never traveled outside North America. The Washington conservative establishment spent nearly $3 million to prop up their candidate, Don Stenberg, who never got traction despite all of his endorsements. Palin Effect (16.05.2012 03:47h): Fischer Wins Nebraska Primary

Just two weeks ago, the battle for the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate seat in Nebraska was between state Attorney General Jim Bruning and state Treasurer Don Stenburg. Neither inspired the growing base of conservative voters. They were, to be charitable, standard conservative-ish career politicians. Mama Grizzly Sarah Palin shook up the race with a late endorsement of state Senator Debby Fischer. It made all the difference.
