Last week a fiscal conservative, on the radio, no less made as one does a very poignant statement that sums up the current feelings and fears (fear is the lack of faith) of Americans in and of the current administration. In using the term Regime is most appropriate:
re·gime also ré·gime (rā-zhēm’, rĭ-) n.
A form of government: a fascist regime.
A government in power; administration: suffered under the new regime.
A prevailing social system or pattern.
