Democrats Use Military Jobs to Black Mail Senator for Vote

Senator Ben Nelson's District Threatoned
The newest target has been painted on the back of Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson. Just after the left attacked Sen. Joe Lieberman for being out front in the fight against the public option and the Medicare buy-in, Nelson was critical of both and his vote is shaky.
Now that those provisions appear to have been stripped from the bill, Lieberman may get on board, but Nelson’s demand that taxpayer money not be used to fund abortion has still not been met.
According to a Senate aide, the White House is now threatening to put Nebraska’s Offutt Air Force Base on the BRAC list if Nelson doesn’t fall into line. Offutt Air Force Base employs some 10,000 military and federal employees in Southeastern Nebraska.
As our source put it, this is a “naked effort by Rahm Emanuel and the White House to extort Nelson’s vote.” They are “threatening to close a base vital to national security for what?” asked the Senate staffer.
Offutt is the headquarters for US Strategic Command, the successor to Strategic Air Command, and is located in the middle of the country for strategic reasons.
Its closure would of course be a massive blow to the economy of the state of Nebraska, but it would also be another example of this administration playing politics with our national security. This falls in line with a list of other bribes and Chicago Style Politics form the Obama gang of Reid, Pelosi.
The Obama-Reid-Pelosi Payoffs List
1. Mary Landrieu (D) Louisiana $100 Million via Jonathon Karl page 432 of the budget busting Health Care bill
2. California $300 million via Sam Farr (D) Pelosi (D) San Fransciso included a reimbursement calculation “fix” which increases Medicare reimbursements to Doctors
3. AARP $ 18 Million in Stimulus Money and the resurgence of “Medigap” which will equal millions of dollars in kickbacks from the policies sold.
4. The Abortion Lobby received a gift on page 118 the Secretary of Health and Human Services to require coverage of any and all abortions through the public options
5. The Unions (SEIU) could recieve up to $10 billion in taxpayer funded bailout money, entitled “Reinsurance Program” to shore up the plundering of union pension coffers.
- The Proposed Option Allows Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius guarantees federal panel seats for the unions.
- Excludes non-union employees from eligibility to work on program-funded contracts
- Additional provisions establish lucrative state training partnerships that contain little or no opportunities for non-union organizations
- Senate Proposals include language that could force home health care workers into unions (this strategy was used by former Illinois Gov, Rod Blagojevich and former California Gov. Gray Davis used this to repay political debts to SEIU in their States)
6. The Healthcare Bill Increases The States Burden Through Taxes. This will pass the increase burden of funding a federal program onto the backs of the states. Thus placing the blame on the shoulders of the Govenors and not the Democratic Parties irresponsible spending.
If the Health Care bill was that great why does the administration need to resort to co-ersion to get the bill passed? Playing hardball with 10,000 of Americas finest soldiers at a critical security base displays a lack of leadership, moral direction and shows the true colors of the administration.
Please contact the Senator and ask him to stand up for American soldiers.

Reading this made me think of a quote. was something like: “All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” Ralph Waldo Emmerson
Extremely Good Report AND I want TO Placed THIS Post IN MY Webpage.
Our major issue in this country is our two political parties. Our forefathers knew that a two party system would be our downfall and took steps to try to stop this type of politics, and thus anyone who seriously thinks that politics isn’t corrupt or slaves to Corporate America hasn’t not been paying attention. George Jr. will go down in History as one of the worst administrations in history and I could go on for hours showing why, but my point is that the Obama administration has offered nothing different (besides health reform, granted) and has in fact continued nearly every single Bush program. Obama has almost the same political donors and thus has the same pressures as Bush did. Health reform will turn out to be the most expensive and destructive waste of tax payer money ever. I just wish I could offer a better alternative for other frustrated people, but I can’t and those that think that the tea partiers are the future, remember that Sarah Palin is an important figure to them.
I’m impressed! It’s nice to see someone very passionate about what they do. Trust all your future posts turn out as well. Thanks!
